HKS Hipermax Performer (Street / Sport)
This kit includes advanced suspension technology with adjustable lower collar type suspension that was developed for HIPERMAX D' and is now included into the HIPERMAX Performer specifically for street driving.
The HIPERMAX Performer is a high performance suspension product that is very comfortable to drive with large diameter pistons and enables ultimate flexibility in ride height with its adjustable lower collar.
Adjustable lower collar type for "cool ride height"
The adjustable lower collars enable a wide range of ride height adjustments from stock height for street driving to "low down style" to dump your vehicle to it's lowest setting. Suspension stroke is not affected by ride height.
Includes settings for street driving
When the spring rate and damping force setting is setup for street driving it results in a comfortable street driving experience
Damping Force
Damping force can be set between 30 steps with adjusting knob so that the damper settings can be adjusted to various situations from street to sport driving as the owner desires..
Single tube, large diameter piston
The kit includes single tube free piston design which divides gas and oil completely. Since the air does not stay in the oil like a twin tube damper, the damping force is extremely stable. Large diameter pistons enables quick valve response and stable damping force from low piston speed.
* Note: If you set your ride height too low, tires might foul car body or other parts.
