We offer an attractive package to aspiring and professional models alike. Get the chance to receive a completely free portfolio and promotion through our network or you can choose to pay for exclusive rights to the photographs taken. How does it work? Import Scene receives on average 4 or 5 applications a week from models wanting to do an Import Scene model shoot. From those applicants we offer a very limited few the opportunity to undertake a photo shoot for FREE with the chance to be listed as an Import Scene Top Model and enjoy additional FREE promotion and the potential for paid work! For approved applicants Import Scene provides our top photographer for a 4 to 5 hour outdoor photo shoot at no cost to you! That's a $400 value for FREE!  If the results of the shoot are positive then we add you to the Import Scene Top Models list PLUS you gain the following benefits: Cross promotion model portfolio at -<WEB SITE BEING DEVELOPED> This provides a network for employers to seek top models for paid work specifically in the import and related automotive industry sectors. Access to selective edits from the shoot listed on <WEB SITE BEING DEVELOPED> on a low fee per image or subscription basis. Non Exclusive arrangement so you can continue to be a freelance model Be listed alongside other quality models - not just anyone taken off the street Gain the opportunity to potentially feature in automotive (and other) magazines through our own contacts and industry partners. Work with a professional freelance photographer (Gregg Holden) who currently provides content to REVS Magazine (UK) and is the Producer of the "Furious Imports" DVD series. Click Here to see his portfolio. Have the opportunity to feature on one of our future Furious Imports DVD's as part of the model segments that we include on them. Have the opportunity to be invited for paid work for Import Scene promotional events at shows etc, Work with, and enjoy the company of, other successful Import Scene Models. What if I am not selected for a FREE Shoot? All applicants still have the opportunity to pay for a shoot if they are not immediately successful in being offered a FREE shoot as an Import Scene Model. Just because you are not accepted as a model for us doesn't mean you can't be a successful model elsewhere. We have had many models pay for a shoot with us to successfully help them gain work in other industry segments.  Our rates are $100 an hour for a minimum of two hours for shoots located anywhere in the Perth metropolitan region.  Under this arrangement you will receive a CD with all the best edited shots from the shoot at the highest resolution with all copyright assigned to you so that you can reproduce them as required for no further cost (This is different to the free arrangement as all rights to the photos are assigned to Import Scene). Once the shoot is completed we may still offer you a position as an Import Scene Top Model if the results turn out to be suitable for possible inclusion into our Top Model listing. Under these circumstances we may offer you a complete refund in exchange for full rights to the images and then provide you the full benefits of being an Import Scene Top model as described at the top of this page! Otherwise the images are yours to keep with full rights assigned to you for the payment you make to us. Who we are looking for Ideally you will be: Female between the age of 18 and 24 years old Extremely well presented Have a strong desire to be (or already have experience) in the modeling and/or fashion industry Although not mandatory it would be useful if you like high performance Japanese import vehicles and the associated automotive industry Outgoing with a receptive, friendly and warm personality Reliable and quick to respond to emails and other communication regarding the shoot and other work Ideally based in Perth, Western Australia although we also consider (and have successfully shot and listed) Eastern States and internationally based models Someone that wants to work hard AND have fun doing so! How to apply Submit at least six (more if desired) recent photos (taken within the last 6 months) either electronically to admin@importscene.com.au or by normal postal mail to:  Import Scene Pty Ltd, Attention: The Manager, PO Box 2229, Clarkson, WA 6030. Please provide a mix of full length, head and shoulders and close-up shots so we can judge your suitability to potentially be offered a FREE shoot. For paid shoots, full payment must be received within 3 days of when the shoot is scheduled. The photos you submit to us do not have to be professionally taken as long as they are clear and provide an accurate resemblance of your current look.   Please also include the following details: Name, Age, Measurements, eye colour, hair colour, modeling preferences (if any), previous experience, preferred contact telephone number and email address. We will then respond to your application as appropriate. About Our Photographer Click for Portfolio Gregg Holden is a Professional Freelance Photographer for REVS magazine (UK edition). REVS is published by Emap who are also responsible for FHM magazine worldwide among a stack of other publications. Professional Industry Partners Import Scene has agreed an approved partnership with Rick McDowell (Australian Speed Factory) in Perth, Western Australia. Rick is responsible for all WA based photo-journalism for national automotive magazines including Hot 4's, High Performance Imports and Zoom. Rick additionally completes shoots for International Import Magazines. Rick exclusively uses Import Scene models for his work. So if you are a model and want to be in national and international magazines then Import Scene may be able to provide you with that opportunity. You will need to be successfully listed as an Import Scene model and prove your professionalism for consideration.
